Programmes

Greetings from HIMAB!

The Himalayan Adventure Bureau(HIMAB), which earlier was known as the Garhwal Himalaya Adventure Bureau (GAHAB), is a tour operating and travel company run and operated by professionals, nature lovers and explorers belonging to the state of Uttarakhand.

The Team HIMAB has wide experience in adventure sports particularly in Himalaya for many years now.

The Team HIMAB is dedicated and devoted to providing safe and secure guidance to fellow adventurers and nature lovers.

Join this time the Himalayan adventure Bureau (HIMAB) in the Himalaya as climbers not conquerors seeking light not fame.

THE HIMALAYA

Few destinations inspire such a wealth of superlatives as the Himalaya. It is a rare place where all of us can soar to new heights!

The Himalaya is more than the largest mountain expanse, with the world’s loftiest peaks and longest glaciers; it is also the world’s youngest mountain range – only two or three million years old – adolescent in a geological life-span!

A region more than half the size of Europe, the Himalaya sweeps across northern Pakistan, northern India, southern Tibet, Nepal, and Bhutan, creating an unforgettable landscape.

Forested valleys, some tropical, lead to high peaks, creating otherworldly mountaintop deserts. Massive glaciers extend for miles; rivers, chilled with melting snow and ice, race through deep and dark gorges. Wild animals – including rare snow leopards and blue sheep – race along craggy cliffs.

Brilliantly coloured flora and fauna grow abundantly.
